Mar 29 2017 "Do you know which book you've written that blew me away? It remains one of my favorite "how to" books, if not THE favorite one, but that doesn't mean it's the subject you should write on. It's "Slicing the Hype." That book blew me away with the information in it, it was super-helpful in knowing how to find "fake" books, but most of all, I came away from it feeling like a "real" writer, like I was one of the gang. It fed my writer's soul, validating me and making me excited about writing and being a writer. It made me "belong" as a writer. I want to go back and reread it." Feb 7 2017 "I've lost 11 lbs already from 280 to 269 in only 3 weeks, and I feel like it's been in a healthy way. Not in a fad diet type of way. So I feel like I can continue eating this way over the long term. 3 to 4 weeks. I'm almost 6 foot 3 inches tall, so I can hold 220 lbs real well, but I have been between 275 and 290 for over 10 yrs. I think the advice you mentioned in the book, about how low carb diets, and Intermitten Fasting, and many others, are great, but they are just tactics. [...] From the bottom of my heart, Thank you for bringing us this, thank you for opening up the communication within our family and thank you for the mornings which seem to be easier to handle. Feb 1 2017 "I have been a serious reader of business, psychology, finance and motivational books, for many years. I've probably read well over 200 books in the past 20 yrs. I will easily put this book in my top 3 favorite of all time, if not my #1 favorite!! The reason is, that the author has a unique way of not only asking you good questions, but also elaborating a lot in order for you to be able to "see" any stumbling blocks in your mind set that might be holding you back. He is very practical with a lot of practical advice, but he helps you dissect and see things that I couldn't see or understand as clearly with other authors. If you've tried and failed before at going after certain goals in different areas of your life, you will love this book. He offers a very effective strategy. One that doesn't rely on you just working harder, or having more will power, or visualizing more blah, blah, like so many books suggest. Not that there isn't a lot of good that can come out of those things, but that his philosophy is different. His is very effective and yet easy to implement, without all of the excess emotional guilt, that can many times come with other personal development books. He also not only explains his philosophy but also gives examples of many other famous successful people's philosophies. So it is a very powerful book. If you like Jim Rohn, Jeff Olson and Darren Hardy, you will absolutely love Michal's books!!! In my opinion he does an amazing job by explaining their strategies, to the average person. Things that you can implement right away in your day to day life. Whether you are a busy executive or at home raising kids. It applies to everyone! Whether you have had some success already but feel like there are areas you can do better in, or whether you are just starting on your success journey. Again, his book applies to everyone! I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to see results in their life!!!" Staffing Entrepreneur Amazon reviewer Trickle Down Mindset

In last 4 years, I've read many self-development books and other materials, but this one greatly resonated with me! I didn't had the idea that actions so simple and easy to do (or not to do :)) can have so vast and great influences in the long-term. I've implemented some of it in my life - my new year's resolution was that I will get up every morning without snoozing, go shower, meditate for 10 minutes, eat something healthy, read good book for at least 20 minutes and then go to work. Thus I keep reading every speed-reading book that comes my way so that I can recommend the latest good book to them. I read this book with great attention and enjoyed reading it. I particularly love the way the author has developed a 10-minute-a-day plan as opposed to older writers who demand one or more hours per day -- which is no longer practical for the modern reader. Jan 10 2016 "WOW! To be honest, this book totally exceeded my expectations! I thought that this book would just provide me with many tips that I already know of regarding time management, but this book really changed my life! I have found the different steps in this book supremely helpful and I will definitely read this book many more times, to let the content of the book sink in deeper and apply the steps in more and more ways. I have found it so helpful to hear how I can so easily transform my life, by starting with small habits, that only take 10 minutes a day! This makes total sense to me because I can see so clearly how I was always successful in my life when I applied something on a consistent basis. So the principles of this book were already working in my life even before I read it! I just could not identify them! But now that I know these principles I can apply them to absolutely everything! I am so grateful for this book, really! It has made my life a lot easier, richer and more meaningful. Thank you so much for writing it Michael Stawicki!" anonymous Amazon reviewer Master Your Time In 10 Minutes a Day

Jan 8 2016 "Quite simply this book could change your life. The author describes a process that I've only just realized myself - I wish it hadn't taken me decades to work it out. It is the concept that we have a personal focusing level - it may be ten minutes at a time, or in my case it varies by day - sometimes I do five minutes, sometimes, fifteen. Finding that sweet spot is important because beyond that we find ourselves hitting diseconomies of scale when it comes to our productivity. He had other great ideas but this was the one that smacked me between the eyes. The author goes into some detail to support his ideas and I appreciated this - not something you usually get from a small Kindle book. And if you're overloaded with commitments (and who isn't) and finding yourself becoming less and less productive, I heartily recommend this book and suggest you read it." June Barnwell Amazon reviewer Master Your Time In 10 Minutes a Day
Jan 7 2016 "I found this book to be most helpful and motivational because of its clear, inspirational guidance and the author's sharing of his own challenges and how he surmounted them. Jan 6 2016 "I gave Michal Stawicki's book five stars because it accomplished its goal: to help me master my time in ten-minute chunks. SO many self-help and time management books cover the same tips over and over... and that's to be expected because truth is truth. There are only so many universal truths that apply to everyone. But Michal's book was different. He challenged some of the parroted techniques and praised others, but mainly encouraged me to find my OWN methods for making the most of my time. My takeaways were numerous but the most valuable to me was the idea of committing to establishing ONE ten-minute daily habit at a time, then leveraging my willpower by starting another when the first habit becomes so entrenched that it doesn't need "willpower" to reinforce it. Also, the "grains of sand" idea was magnificent; a prepared list of activities that support one's life mission but can be accomplished in ten minutes or less. I've already begun to salt and pepper ten-minute "productivity moments" into my day, starting with Michal's and my shared love of pushups. Give this book a read if you are like me; an intellectual suffering from information overload. Michal Sta will help you focus. Instead of killing time you'll work it to death :-)" Kurt Frankenberg serial entrepreneur, karate master Master Your Time In 10 Minutes a Day

Jan 4 2016 "I am a high school teacher. I have read many books on education and tried many methods of teaching in my class. Some work, some don't work. I have drawn several conclusions from these experiences. All education either in the classroom or in the home must have simple steps and must also be consistent. I think that Michal has come to the same conclusion. The book outlines Michal's attempt to help his son in school. He focuses on reading and then describes his simple system to improve reading. The system is not fancy, is consistent and achieves the desired results. His son gets better grades. This result is all I could ask for in my class and should be what any parent wants for their child. I strongly recommend the book." David Beres Amazon reviewer "Release Your Kid's Dormant Genius In Just 10 Minutes a Day"
Jan 3 2016 "It's obvious that the author has tamed his own social anxiety. The way he relates his own (sometimes painful) experiences, it's impossible not to feel transported into his world - I was right there, on that train platform with him ... Yet, the book is filled with practical, can-do exercises to build confidence. I like how he offers variants, faces objections head-on and is pragmatic in his approach. After all, he's been, done that, and now shares how he did it. Highly recommended." Naima Amazon reviewer From Shy to Hi"
Jan 2 2016 "I started reading a few pages into this book with the expectation that I'd skim through and be done in short order. I was wrong. The personal stories, the smooth flow of the words, and the flawless editing kept me hooked. Not only does the author get inside your head and make you feel like you're not alone in the world, but he then offers convincing hope for change. The concept that you're not just born with overwhelming shyness, that it's all in your brain and that it can be fixed - that's pretty motivating! I can see value in the exercises not just applying to shyness, but overlapping into improving other areas of your life as well. (i.e. stopping a fear cycle and just pondering it.) In short, this book made an impact and I'm glad I grabbed a copy!" Jan Amazon reviewer From Shy to Hi"
Dec 30 2015 "Just wanted to say, Thanks for staying the Course Michal. Sometimes it looks like you do a LOT with little result. But you keep on keeping on and things turn around. Proof positive that never giving up, pays off. Takes a while, but you are getting to where you originally aimed to be. Might take 3 years, but that’s better than the next 10 years of never knowing. And you really do set a good example. I still can’t bring myself to make the same commitments of my time, that you do – but I’m not looking for the same results. If I’m making a couple hundred a month off my books, I’ll be happy. It isn’t about the money, or quitting a job for me. But by not staying the course I’ll never get to my couple hundred either. Although I have been managing my time successfully for many years, and routinely reach my goals and get done what I consider to be important, this book has given me a number of new tips that I have incorporated in my life. Dec 24 2015 "Michal's book gave me the courage to go for a couple dozen new habits I want to form, rather than the typically suggested small handful. I love his "grains of sand" idea for using a few minutes at a time to accomplish quick tasks, when I'm fatigued and would normally veg out with TV or surfing the net. His delight in daily reviewing his 1300 word personal mission statement motivated me to attack that project again with new vigor (and with the help of his $1.00 guidebook). And I am definitely going to apply his suggestion for how to choose which tasks to schedule early in the day. Very helpful read." Julia Rossen Amazon reviewer Master Your Time In 10 Minutes a Day
Dec 23 2015 " After reading the whole book in one sitting, i picked two chapters from this book for action. Chap8. Break it down and Chap12. Sand Grains Method. It was revelation. The author has suggested an app for breaking the task down in to details and working on them to increase the completion by 10 fold. Indeed, this did increased by task completion. Earlier, I used to struggle and stare at my to-do list wondering why isn't I am not able to finish. I had difficulties in visualizing the task and breaking down in to very minor parts which are do-able. Now i picked up the app, start converting my action items in to various sub-tasks. Now I have something to play with for the task completion. For this suggestion alone, the book is worth its money." Sureshkumar Amazon reviewer Master Your Time In 10 Minutes a Day

And the icing on the cake is definitely the inspiring stories of what wonderful experiences open up when one lets go of self-imposed inhibitions...some of them heart warming, some encouraging and one that even brought tears to my eyes. He clearly writes from his own experience and has found his personal mission statement to be of immense value. Dec 19 2015 "When I starting reading this, especially the parts about the author’s own son and his reading style, my initial thoughts were that they mirrored my own son’s reading behaviour. I am not sure how helpful this book would be if your child had a problem with maths or science, although much of the advice is general and makes perfect sense. However, the author has also written a book about speed reading and many of the tactics he employed with his son were very useful to me. I have implemented his suggested daily reading assignment and have found that it really has helped improve both his concentration and speed. As the author explains, the slower you read, the less you comprehend, and so the exercises in this book have noticeably increased his understanding of what he has read. This is a short book, but if you are struggling with a child who is either under-achieving, unmotivated or struggling at school, you will find some very useful advice and suggestions within its pages. The author is keen to stress that he also suffers from the demands on his time that all busy parents struggle with. However, he also points out that nobody will care about a child’s education and well-being like their parents and, importantly, he helps explain what you can achieve with consistency and effort. A good and useful book and I am pleased I read it." S Riaz Amazon reviewer Release Your Kid's Dormant Genius

I read the book in three days. It has given me some personal clarity. As with any self help book you will never agree with every thought or idea, but Michal comes across as a friend sitting down with you to talk. Dec 16 2015 "I have always had issues with poor time management so I thought this book would be an interesting read. I just started reading personal development books a few months ago and this is the second one I decided to read. One take away from Master Your Time that really stuck with me is the point that not every thing on my to do list is possible to get done. That made me realize that I was stressing out about a list of tasks for no reason. Another point that stuck with me is the fact that just because I'm busy doing multiple tasks during the day doesn't mean I'm being productive. I took the authors advice about starting a time journal. Writing down everything I did in a day really put into perspective how much of my time I actually wasted." anonymous Amazon reviewer Master Your Time In 10 Minutes a Day I love action takers!

The message in this book is really a mashup of their works in a way that provided some clarity to their messages. The theme that runs through their work is that daily disciplines, compounded over time will give you the results you want, and that daily errors in judgement compounded over time will give you the results you don't want. In my opinion, this is a superior time management book with a bold and truthful "voice" that comes through the writing. What stood out to me most is how the author does not give you a set path to time management; he writes, "You have to explore this jigsaw puzzle and put it together in a way that will work for YOU." Every chapter is "drenched" with practical exercises and thought processes. There is no babbling on-and-on in this book. Nov 27 2015 "The author talks persuasively about the power of consistent action combined with perseverance. This book is a much needed reminder of the importance of "showing up" - doing your work, pursuing your goal, not quitting. It's not sexy advice but it works like nothing else. It gave me a much-needed kick up the backside to do the things important to my success even if they're unpleasant. The writing appeals to reason and logic and is rational and low-key (no fist-pumping pep talks) and seems all the more effective for it. I have a project in mind that I was (as usual) on the verge of scrapping because of all sorts of excuses. This book has given me the confidence to at least give it a sincere, meaningful and consistent effort for a couple of years. " jakeone Amazon reviewer The Art of Persistence

Nov 24 2015 "Michal has a gift, he has the ability to take the complex and make it simple. At the root of his most recent book is a fundamental philosophy which all the best personal development teachers advocate; "consistent disciplines overtime will give you the results you want". Nov 23 2015 "What I appreciated most about this book was Michal's sharing his personal journey of finding the best solutions to manage his time. I have read several of the books he cites and it is seeing his putting these ideas together in his own way, his application of them that is most helpful to me. Especially that he does so in a detailed manner. I already have a time management method I am pleased with in my life and am continually looking for ways to make it even better. I enjoy reading different authors to get just a slightly different perspective on things -- sometimes a small tweak in perspective or a little shift in execution makes all the difference! One perspective-shifting statement from this book for me is on breaking huge tasks "down to the point where you will feel ridiculous if you avoid such a minor effort." I love that. Another shift for me was his thoughts on sustained effort, not simply in that it can be powerful, which I have seen, but in how it can relieve our fears of failure. We can stop worrying about failure because we can rest in knowing that sustained action simply brings results. So just plug away at those ridiculously small tasks... (...) Specially when the going goes tough, the words of the statement echoing in my mind, keeps me going...keeps me trying no matter how many times I fail to keep my promises to myself. And truly, I wouldn't have been able to create such an effective statement, which aligns so well with my values and ideals, without this awesome little book. It took me several weeks to journal on all the insightful questions, and some more days to actually shape my statement. Even now I keep tweaking it here and there. But it has been fully worth the effort. And not just the final mission statement, but the insights that I've have glimpsed, things about myself that I didn't even know existed, things long forgotten; all coming to surface through journaling on the questions in this book, has made the whole process an enlightening experience for me. The part which inspired the most was definitely the few paragraphs you put in the excerpt. It somehow gives hope that if he can, so can I. Plus, those feats of pushups and pull ups were impressive enough by themselves. I think it would've been nice if the introductory chapter started with something exciting like that..." Nov 6 2015 "This was a wonderful book. I had not read the author before, but he was suggested by another blog. I couldn't have been more happy with my purchase! The book was well thought-out and well-written. It did a great job of providing concrete steps to becoming more consistent in your daily life. It was written often from a Christian perspective, and if you are a Christian (which I am not) you will probably connect even more with The Art of Persistence. That component of the book was not evangelical but informative. It didn't take away from the book if you are a non-Christian." A. Rock reviewer The Art of Persistence

Nov 3 2015 "This is the second book I have read by Michal Stawicki and I love his style. The best way I can describe it is like; he is sitting down right beside me talking. His concepts are definitely easy to understand and he is a living example of success is not a destination but a journey. He reiterates philosophies taught by other "success teachers", but is able to put his "flavor" on the subject enough to encourage you to take action and your success will look a little different because it is yours." DWL reviewer Simplify Your Pursuit of Success
Nov 2 2015 "I downloaded this book as part of a period of study and it was a bit of an after-thought but turned out to be in my top 3 most useful books studied in this little period of self-development! (...). I have been looking for help in finding out why I self-sabotage bigger success. This book, ‘Prosperity for Writers’, and 'The Miracle Morning' have been the biggest life-changers for me. This book covers a lot but it’s main theme is the importance of self-analysis for success. All very well but the author emphasizes taking action rather than just sitting and contemplating!" Oct 31 2015 "The last part I really connected with is Positive Self Awareness. Our daughter had a heart attack at age 15 and suffered brain damage from lack of oxygen. I was with the above mentioned company at the time. After months of work and therapy, she came to me and said "I know all the things I CAN"T do. Is there anyone who can tell me what I can do ?" After a round of testing, the experts told her what she COULD do. The next week she saw an ad in the local paper for a job that described all the positive things she had learned. She walked in and quoted what she had learned and why she would be a good fit for the job. She got the job" Liz reviewer Know Yourself Like Your Success Depends on It

She has moved in with us and we are struggling to blend our lives . I am struggling with knowing how to help her keep her autonomy and plan for the future . I am so glad I found your first book to help me put things in perspective and set priorities. " Liz reader Simplify Your Pursuit of Success
Oct 22 2015 "I thoroughly enjoyed reading the new book. It was short and sweet and gave a lot of insights about what success is and what entails the attainment of such an aim or a state in life. (...) From your writings I see that success is a journey and not only a destination. I also like how you infer in the book that success is best attained in small, steady, steps, and to be successful is to learn about success in general and importantly to desire and imbibe the tenets of success." I´d love to read your new book. Awesome title by the way! Sounds interesting. The first book I read written by you was "The Trickle Down Mindset" and I loved it. Sep 27 2015 "When someone heard I was reading this book they asked why. I read on average over 100 books a year. My reading speed is over 400 words per minute. But it was not always that way. I have a dual form of dyslexia and came out of grade 7 reading at a grade 3 level and went into grade 8 reading at a University level because I spent my whole summer break in school learning how to read. With this book you can achieve that in just 10 minutes a day! My answer was threefold, first I am always looking to improve and grown and second I often get asked for book reconditions for people looking to read more. And third I have loved all of Michal's books that I have read and want to read his complete cannon. Up until now I would always recommend either The Coles Notes Your Guide To Speed Reading or Teach Yourself Speed Reading from the Work Smarter series. Both of which I have read and recommended to numerous people who have had success in increasing their reading speed. But now my first pick now will be Michal's book!" Steven pro reviewer
Sep 26 2015 "I must tell you that your books have become some of my absolute favorites. Your writing style is so 'readable', and your ideas are timeless and so very TIMELY for my life.I have shared so many of your words of wisdom with my colleague, Steve. Particularly when one or the other of us starts to feel a bit panicky about the length of time it's taking to get this project funded. All our meetings and correspondence with various stakeholders (politicians, industry, etc.) result in nothing but encouragement and positive feedback, so it gets a bit frustrating when they won't SHOW US THE MONEY! Something came to me the other day as I was giving Steve some encouragement....I said "Perseverance is our weapon and success will be our reward". So, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing from your heart because it's just what I need to be reading right now!!" Rachel reader

And, you seem to be able to amass and assimilate large amounts of information in a short time. Your writing moves along quickly and is concise. In other words, I am beginning to see how you might succeed big time. You do have what it takes. "

Am ready to continue with the next chapter of Covey's "7 Habits" now (I force myself to interrupt reading Covey until I was ready with my Mission Statement). Your book helped me a lot - and as predicted by you, it was a tough and time-consuming task (for me) to think about (my) life and its purpose. Your suggestions on how to tackle these questions were great."

Sep 21 2015 Amazon review: If you have any trouble staying committed to something, being focused and wanting to accomplish whatever it is you want to accomplish, this book is for you. It also introduced me to a free website (Coach.me) that I would have paid for so the price of this book is really low for what you are getting! Thanks Michal Stawicki!
Sep 20 2015 I want to say that I felt that this was possibly the best book yet! I have read most of your works and have benefited greatly from your writing. My first read was the "Trickle Down Mindset". Your style resonated with me and although I have read and listened to many self-improvement books, it enabled me to look at things from a fresh perspective, one from someone who was not considering himself an expert but simple another student on the road to betterment and wisdom. It introduced me to "The Slight Edge" for which I am deeply grateful and lead me to work feverishly on a Personal Mission Statement using most of your methods and suggestions. Trickle Down Mindset remained my favorite until reading "Mirror". It speaks to the reader in the same way but contains simple but effective information related to journaling, meditation, and prayer. I have struggled with the first two but am now committed to make them a part of my routine. Ed Cooper the beta read of Know Yourself Like Your Success Depends on It subscriber, reader
Sep 19 2015 I have an only son, 9. He has mild autism but he's doing great thru his therapies. I already was taking great care of him in my time with him (I'm divorced). But after applying the Art of CONSISTENCY in the last weeks I did change so many things and did focus in a such better way that last week, prior to sleep, I did cry in happiness for half and hour after he told me: "Dad you already were a good dad, but now you are MY PERFECT DAD."
